One thing remains: the old schoolhouse on Richland School Road, which housed grades one through six in a single classroom. It's since been converted into a residence. “Everyone used to congregate at the school,” [Glenna] Courtney said, noting that each grade had three or four students. After graduating from sixth grade, students would end up at Pasco High School or Zephyrhills High School, depending on where they lived, Courtney said. She noted the reunion is planned for the same weekend as the annual Zephyrhills reunion. Many former residents return to the area then. Despite the fond memories of the old school, Clark Roman, who owns the place now, said there's nothing too exciting about it. He described its architectural interest as minimal. When he bought the building about two years ago from the Pasco school district, nothing of note was left inside.
