| Looking north from Main Street onto Howell Avenue in 1915, one can notice how smooth the streets are by now. On the corner is Thompson's Drug Store, which later evolves into Hope's Drug Store in the 1920s when Mr. Thompson's daughter Margie marries Walter Hope. It stayed in operation until 1963.
