In the upper right corner, a bit to the left, is the beginning of Grove Park Subdivision, off of State Road 54. Clearly at this point, New Port Richey, as well as West Pasco, was beginning to "feel its oats" and at an ever expanding rate, within a few years from when this photograph was taken, one would be hard pressed to believe how much of West Pasco were mere farms, where today stands large subdivions.
