| Perhaps the residence of Elroy M. Avery, the first Mayor of New Port Richey. The photo was taken in 2006, shortly before the house was demolished. A long-time resident recalled that this home, at Grand Boulevard and Vermont, was the Avery home. However, a 1920s newspaper article reported that Avery's home was being constructed on the boulevard north of Massachusetts. |
