| The Clemmie Butler home. This unusual two-story residence at 5327 Grand Boulevard was built for E. Z. ("Easy") Jackson "in 1941 or '42 at a fantastically low cost," according to Ralph Bellwood. The downstairs was originally used as a garage, with the living quarters upstairs, before Clemmie Butler moved in. According to The Historic Places of Pasco County, "This two-story residence was built of native rock hauled from the nearby Pithlachascotee River bottom and fitted together with mortar. For more than 30 years, Clemmie Butler lived in the house with her daughter, and they earned their livelihood by taking in laundry."
