| New Port Richey, about 1925. This photograph appears in Tales of West Pasco with this caption: "North Boulevard at the intersection of Main Street was a busy shopping center in the early twenties. The vintage cars parked along the Boulevard date the era. The buildings pictured here were the Hermanson building, housing the B. H. Hermanson Drug Store as well as a clothing and sundry merchandise store. The smaller building was R. Draft's Hardware Store and the two story building on the left was the Broersma's Hotel. Wallie's Barber Shop, Smith's Realty, and the Chamber of Commerce now stand on the site of these old buildings." |
