| The Pasco County school board, meeting at the (historic) court house in Dade City. Pat Cain, George Dayton, Mark St. Clair, Cornelius P. “Connie” McCabe, Richard Stevenson, Margaretta C. Witt, Edgar H. Kirkland. McCabe served more than 21 years on the school board and was chairman of the board for almost 19 years. He died at age 76 on Oct. 18, 1975. Mark St. Clair served as school superintendent from 1949 to 1957. He was the long-time principal at Lacoochee. He died at age 90 in 1995. Kirkland was on the school board for 15 years. |
