All of them were Gulf high school graduates. Each hopes to take some course in specialized training while in the service. Choices of instruction range from pre-medical to master electrician. After induction the boys are slated to be transferred to San Diego, California, for their boot training. Shown in the cut above, left to right, are Rupert Bethel, Marvin Lochelt, Carl Brady, Earl Hudson, Jimmy Cutting, Bobby Jackson, Daniel Bass, Phillip Bruce, and Dan Zuber.
