This picture appeared in the New Port Richey Press on April 19, 1962, with the following caption. "Pictured above is the colorful new reception center which adorns the entrance to Gulf Harbors. It is patterned after the Siamese 12-pointed Star symbol and was designed by Victor Muscarello, architect for Gulf Harbors. A typical kitchen and dinette installation displays the choices available to prospective home buyers. Private business offices, conference and rest rooms are contained within the building. The main central room is comfortably furnished for relaxation of visitors. The moat surrounding the building contains rocks and shells with crystal clear water circulating throughout, while the patio and grounds are landscaped with Florida shrubs and plantings. A golden finial carries the insignia of seaworthiness. It extends through the roof from a central supporting column. The roof is outstanding with Missouri river red gravel which glistens in the sunlight. There are four entrances, with approaches from all four sides. Each approach has a bridge over the moat, and large concrete, circle-type flagstone steps lead to the building."
