 | George Asher Casson (1914-1994) was the third son of Asher C. Casson and Anna M. Casson
and served with the 82nd Airborne during World War II in Europe. He was in one of the glider companies that landed on D-Day and later fought in the Battle of the Bulge. In 1942 he married Margaret Holway, daughter of Louis Holway of New Port Richey. After the war they moved to Bristol, Florida, and then to Tallahassee, where he owned a paint store and picture framing business.
