Pictured here are the old rails and ties, where the road ended on Nebraska Avenue, just back of the abandoned Davis Lumber Company. The old station, which now stands as the Spanish-American War Veterans Hall, was in the rear of the Sims Building. Here is where the old "Tug and Grunt" trains came to a grinding halt at the end of the line." |
