This is a lovely view of Manatee Point, and Manatee Point Drive, on the east side of the Cotee River. As you can see, the Cotee River has wound its way through New Port Richey, and has taken a turn west to empty into Miller's Bayou, and thence to the Gulf. The street on the lower left of the photograph is Orange Grove Avenue, and on this street can be seen two homes built in 1915, still standing. Pulsar is the first street to branch off of Orange Grove, heading North. The next street going west, off of Orange Grove, is Washington Street, which terminated at that time at Broadway. Grand Boulevard can be seen meandering the River line, in the upper left. Also shown is Kenwood Avenue. The home on the SE corner of Kenwood Avenue and Grand, was built in 1924. [Caption by David A.
